My journey from a blogger to an ebook publisher has been exciting and a learning process. This year with the Blogchatter Ebook carnival I published my second Ebook named as “Cooking with Shail”.
Why the title Cooking with Shail?
Last year I had published my first ebook with @Blogchatter and had named it “Breads and Breakfast” as I had specifically posted recipes in two sections one having Breads and one Breakfast recipes. This year I decided to go with a more general theme and posted recipes each of different category that can be made as an appetizer or main course in breakfast, lunch or dinner. The aim in mind was to take the reader, who is trying my recipes, into my kitchen and trying out a class of different recipes with easy ingredients and easy method. So I decided to go with “Cooking with Shail” as that is the name of my website and it would give the reader a notion of my website is about while reading my Ebook.
The Ebook cover:
Going with the intention of keeping the name of my Ebook same as my website it became easier for me to design the Ebook cover which is the logo of my website. It has scales which represents the symbol of law/justice and one side is the laddle and other side is a whisker which represent my love for cooking and baking. The book cover was easy to design with the help of tips and suggestions by @Blogchatter team for which I am very thankful.
The selection of recipes:
The selection of recipes is never easy specially with the theme I had in mind of easy recipes but with a twist. I have selected 15 different recipes each different from the other and each of a different category. The ingredients used in each of the recipe are very easily available and the method is also very simple to follow. Some of my recipes have two or three recipes clubbed in together as a meal.
