Paneer Cheese Pattice

Hey friends!! The recipe I am posting today is simple paneer and cheese combination pattice. It is very easy to make using very little oil and can be served as appetizers at any party. The spices used are very simple and few but when combined together they enhance the taste. Paneer and cheese are two favorite ingredients in every household. hence when these two come together the pattice tastes sinfully yummy. It will not take much of time to make these pattices. You can make the pattice and keep it in the fridge and fry them at the time of serving. So lets get cooking…

Ingredients:

Paneer/Cottage Cheese (Grated) – 150 grams

Processed Cheese (Grated) – 1 cup

Mozzarella cheese (Grated) – 1/2 cup

Chilli Flakes –  1 tbsp

Oregano – 1 tbsp

Finely chopped green chilly- 1 tbsp

Green Capsicum (finely chopped)- 1/2 cup

Fresh Coriander leaves (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp

Roasted Peanut (Semi grind in a jar) – 3-4 tbsp

Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup

Salt – 2 tsp

Garam Masala – 1 tbsp

Oil – 8-10 tbsp

Method:

1) In a bowl take the paneer/cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, processed cheese, finely chopped green chilly, capsicum, coriander leaves, oregano, chilli flakes, garam masala, peanut powder, salt and 2 tbsp bread crumbs and mix well.

2) Make small discs out of the above prepared mixture. Coat them with bread crumbs and keep it in the fridge for ten minutes.

3) Drizzle some oil in a non stick frying pan and shallow fry the discs on both sides in medium flame till crisp on both sides.

4) Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney.

  6. I have tried paneer cutlets but they often break when I dip them in oil. Now I will try them with bread crumbs and peanut powder.
