Ice Lemon Tea

Hey guys!!! I am not a big fan if tea I am more of a coffee person but when it comes to ice tea I just love it. I have been experimenting with ice tea since a long time sometimes it turns out really yummy sometimes not so good. Today’s recipe has been tried and tested on my dad who is my biggest critic. He is a not exactly a tea person and yet allowed me to test on him. With the help of his pointers I have tried this recipe which is not a classic ice tea recipe as I have changed the ingredients and tried something new. Its easy and can be fixed in a jiffy if you have sudden guests at home or make the black tea and keep it in fridge and serve as and when guests arrive. It is perfect for the hot summers. So lets get chilling….

Ingredients:

Tea leaves- 2 tsp

Water – 1/2 cup

Sugar- 2 tbsp

Lemon Juice- 1 tsp

Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp

Cinnamon Powder- 1/2 tsp

Club Soda- 1 cup

Ice cubes- 1 cup

Method:

1) In a pan take the water, tea leaves and sugar and let it boil for 10 mins.

2) In a small jug take the tea concoction as prepared above. Add the water, club soda, lemon juice, vanilla essence and cinnamon powder and mix well.

3) In a tall glass take the ice cubes and pour the tea as prepared in step 2.

4) Drink chilled.
