Hey guys! The recipe I am posting today is of a very healthy and tasty breakfast recipe. Start your day with these mini uttapams and stay energetic the whole day. So lets get cooking….
Rava/Semolina – 1/2 cup
Wheat flour – 1/4 cup
Bajra/Pearl Millet flour – 1/4 cup
Oats flour (make powder of rolled oats) – 1/4 cup
Curd – 1/2 cup
Water – 1 and 1/2 cups
Water to loosen the batter
2) Finely chopped:
Onion – 1 medium
Tomato – 1 medium
Capsicum – 1 medium
Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
Ginger-Green chilly paste – 2 tsp
Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard/Rai seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds/Jeera – 1 tsp
Haldi/Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
1) Add all the ingredients as mentioned in the flours section and mix it all well. Keep it aside for 15 minutes to rest.
2) After 15 minutes add all the ingredients as mentioned in the finely chopped section and mix it in the batter. At this stage if you feel the batter has thickened you can add little more of water to loosen the batter.
3) Now add the salt, ginger garlic and green chilly paste and mix it all well. In a small tempering bowl take the oil and let it become warm, then add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them crackle. TO this add the haldi powder and take it off the gas and add this tempering to the batter and mix it well.
4) Using mini uttapam non stick tava tava or regular dosa non stick tava (as per your choice) pour the batter on the tava and grease it from all sides with oil. Flip to other side once the lower side is crisp and cooked. Cook from both sides and serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
